Just another wasted space in cyberspace!

Birthday wishlist

with 3 comments

I just realized I make 2 wish lists each year – one for Christmas and one for my birthday.

But as I’ve said, this doesn’t mean that I expect all of these as gifts from other people. I also make use of this as a personal reference on which to buy first (as if I really prioritize my shopping).

But for a change, I’ll limit this wish list to items costing not more than $300. Because I myself cannot muster enough *courage* to purchase one item costing more than that.

1. Amazon Kindle

I do hope the price of Kindle will drop by next year. Same as the Kindle books.

2. Polaroid Pogo (camera + printer)

My dad actually asked me what camera I want. I think he still thinks I want a DSLR. I actually don’t anymore though I’m the only one among my siblings who doesn’t own one. It’s just that I know I can always borrow from either of them, and that I also do not have that money to invest in buying good lenses.

3. Fuji Instax Mini 7S

If I cannot get the Polaroid above, this would be a cheap alternative! What I just don’t like about this is that the film is sooo expensive as compared to the Pogo! But I do love that it kept the old form of the polaroid photo (white borders and all).

3. Holga Baby 110 camera

This would be the last camera on my list. Cute and cheap! :)

5. Scarves

I do love scarves! And since rainy season is almost near, I can wear them to keep me warm. :)

6. Socks

Since I recently bought a pair of white brogues, I am so excited to wear it with some cute socks. I would love to find some argyle socks here in the Philippines. Or maybe some ruffly ankle socks.

7. Round sunglasses

I know I should have bought the Ferragamo round shades I saw 3 mos ago. It was even 70% off! Haha. But hey, if I do see some cheap shades that are round, fine by me. I think I’ve already exceeded my shades budget for the past year, so no more room to buy another branded one.

I think these are basically all of it.  Haha. Of course I didn’t include here some shoes, coz I have not been lusting over any specific style right now. No earrings nor layered necklaces, too. I’m impulsive when it comes to shoes and accessories, so before I even include any of  it in a list, there’s a huge chance that I wasn’t able to control myself and already bought it. :) )

To dear friends who have stumbled upon this blog, I won’t really expect you to give any of the above (especially the first three hahaha). I am appreciative of gifts, so whatever comes to mind, I know you know me well enough to choose a gift for me :)

    • I’ve been there twice! The last time was last yr when I accompanied my kabarkada to look for party goodies for my inaanak’s 1st bday.
I always get dizzy at bazaars and tiangges! They’re so crowded and masikip. :D Plus, I was never really good at haggling! :D

  2. I want the Kindle too, or a Nook, but not only is the reader itself expensive but their e-books are… they make getting an iPad a good idea.
